Han geul Lee
Han geul Lee is a New York-based pianist, composer, and electronics performer. Since starting piano lessons at the age of fourteen, he has won numerous competitions and performed chamber and solo recitals across the United States and Europe. Han geul has since been received under scholarship at both Eastman School of Music and Manhattan School of Music. Recently he has been composing and premiering new instrumental and electronic works under the guidance of Dr. Reiko Füting and Dr. David Adamcyk, while completing a second masters in contemporary performance for piano. Han geul’s acousmatic composition ‘Interview’ was recently selected to feature in Midlands New Music Symposium (hosted by University of Nottingham), justifying the use of the phrase ‘internationally recognized composer’ although he doesn’t feel at all comfortable using it yet.
